Education Committee - Responsible for the education resources for members and the general public on a variety of topics related to the needs of the business community. Projects include the Business Resource Center at the EG Public Library and Education Series conducted in the Spring and Fall annually and held at the East Granby Public Library.

BAH/Program Committee - Responsible for organizing the Business After Hours (BAH) gatherings four times a year including the highly successful TVCA event at the NEAM. Additionally responsible for the co-Holiday Party with the WL Chamber of Commerce in December.

Sidewalk Fair Committee - Responsible for the annual Sidewalk Fair at Center Street Shops. Essentially a business expo with entertainment for the whole family, The EG Sidewalk Fair offers local businesses an opportunity to showcase their goods and services.

Youth Outreach Program Committee/CYPE - The committee works with the local school system to create internship and job opportunities with local businesses. Also responsible for Chamber scholarship and establishing the criteria for the scholarship annually, reviewing applications and liaison with the school for the Top 10 Graduating Seniors. Includes: Chamber Young Professionals & Entrepreneurs -To help young professionals become better engaged in community life, expand professional and social opportunities and become ambassadors for the Tobacco Valley region. Age group targeted - 17-25

Ambassadors Committee/Membership - Responsible for being liaisons between the BOD and the chamber members. Committee meets with all members of the chamber annual one-on-one to assist members in taking advantage of all that the chamber offers and providing feedback on we can better serve the members. responsible for the growth of the Chamber's membership by reaching out to area businesses within and beyond East Granby's borders. We meet with new members, deliver a welcome kit, solicit their input, and encourage them to join a committee and participate in upcoming Chamber events.

Golf Committee - Responsible for participating in the outing, soliciting items for a raffles and silent auction, as well as sponsorships for the event. Committee is combined with the Granby COC Annual Golf Outing. Proceeds support the scholarship fund.

Marketing/Publicity Committee - The publicity / marketing committee is responsible for building awareness for our members and community. Supporting the members in promoting their businesses to other members as well as to the surrounding community. Committee acts as a liaison working with community organizations including the EDC, EG PTO, Women League of Voters, etc. Responsible for creating and submitting press to local papers and other organizations. Programs include: Tree Lighting Ceremony in December, Meet the Candidates in September, and the Business Reception in January.
